Pearl

Pearls also known as Moti, are beautiful and can come in different shades and shapes. Generally, round pearls are the most highly valued. The most highly valued color is a pure white with a rose overtone, but other colors can also be highly sought after including black and gold pearls. It is important to note that natural sea pearls are dearer than the cultured or synthetic man made pearls.

The price of a pearl can vary with many factors including weight, shape, color, luster, surface quality, and origin. Flawless pearls or those with few blemishes or imperfections on their surface are generally more expensive than others. The South Sea pearl is generally a higher quality pearl and can be more expensive.

At Fine Gems London we do not sell cultured pearls, we specialise in only offering natural Sea pearls. (not only on view below but a large range that we continually source at the back end to fulfill specific customer requirements offline). We also are able to source the more rare and higher value Basra Pearls on request.

In Vedic astrology, Pearl is associated with the Moon. It is believed to bring calmness and peace. It helps to raise energies for wealth, relationships and spiritual growth as well as bringing mental and financial stability in life.
